7 Signs your house is under pest threat

Regardless of how many times we ignore this topic, we cannot deny the fact that pest problems need to be treated immediately. Ignoring pests means you are ignoring health, safety, and the protection of your property. Pest infestation may also result in other concerns like fire hazards, injuries, accidental fall, burglary, theft, and more…

A pest infestation is easy to understand and we know when the right time to call for a pest control is. However, most times we ignore these symptoms and delay things. It would be great if every homeowner realizes the seriousness of pest control before it is too late. It is as simple as to believe Romney Pest Control is essential before pests become uncontrollable in numbers.

7 Signs your house is controlled by pests:

  • Pest droppings:

Droppings from pests can be mainly from mice, squirrels, and rats. Pest droppings are easy to spot. It is mainly their poop. These are clear signs of pest infestation and pest invasion in your house. Calling for a pest control company is the only solution to take prompt actions. They know the next move well.

  • Strange sounds:

Strange sounds in the house don’t always relate to ghost stories; there may be pests teasing and playing with you. A few common pest sounds include squeaking, scratching, gnawing, scurrying, and more… Sometimes, if you pay attention closely at late nights you may hear gentle banging sounds; these could be termites chewing up your wood décor.

  • Bites and stings:

Some pests are fearless! They will straight away get in contact with you to bite, sting, or scratch you. Insect bites are signs you have pest issues at home. It is obvious that pest did not follow you all the way to your home until you got comfortable so that it could bite you. Perhaps, they are already there in the house.

  • Rotten or chewed wood:

Wood debris or rotten wood are clear signs of termite infestation. They are the ones that chew up all your wood and consume it deliciously without any regrets. Never delay termite issues or you may end up facing huge losses on your property value. Many property owners have suffered a depreciated value of their property putting them in major loss. Thus, termite pest control is critical for every property owner.

  • Collection of debris for nesting:

If you find any shredded papers, fabrics, cardboards, and other similar materials, perhaps the pests in your house are taking spaces to share the space with you. These could be nesting material. You must inspect your house attic, storage areas, basement, and other rooms where moisture content is high. Specializing in wildlife control and removal is something we are poor at. Thus, we need someone to understand these signs and take preventive measures on our behalf.

  • Holes in fabric:

Did you notice any holes in your fabric? Small holes in the fabric could be due to moths, bugs, termites, and cockroaches. Rats also chew fabric and leave it into pieces. Pests are attracted to fiber and so they enjoy ruining your winter wear.

  • Eggs and webs:

Eggs or webs by pests are clear signs of pest invasions. Eggs may be of different types, size, shapes, and color as per the pest type in your house. Webs are generally created by spiders. Never neglect these signs or you will see innumerable pests roaming inside in no time. Some pests have abilities to reproduce themselves that can increase their numbers around majorly. Indeed! It is time for Romney Pest Control.
